Bell Oaks Expands to Further Support Nonprofit & Corporate Clients
Bell Oaks is always poised to best serve our clients through successful search experiences with exceptional team members and is pleased to welcome Lauren Kase, Search Consultant and Victoria Edwards, Research Associate to the firm.
Lauren Kase’s 12-year career in university and nonprofit development spans the east coast, uniquely positioning her as a Search Consultant in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors in the Atlanta community and cities across the country. She earned degrees in public policy and social work but most notably has tactical experiencedirecting development and major gifts fundraising for the University of Virginia, Duke, and New York University’s schools of public policy and social work, along with managing a $300 million capital campaign for Juilliard. She is eager to apply her strong public policy background to Bell Oaks’ nonprofit clients to bring in the right people to make a difference, as well as her management and development history to understand corporate clients’ particular search needs to match their culture with the right candidates. In both arenas, Lauren prioritizes building trusting relationships and mutually beneficial partnerships.
“What a gift to have Lauren Kase join the Bell Oaks team!” says Lisa Robinson, a Partner at the firm. “Lauren will help us take our nonprofit practice to the next level. She has a heart for supporting the community matched with an exceptional talent understanding organizations.”
Victoria Edwards provides a key role at the firm as a Research Associate by conducting the upfront research that lays the groundwork for successful search processes. Like Lauren, she also gleaned much of the professional practice she brings to clients and the firm through her university work and education. She served in career development and recruiting at the higher education level for Kennesaw State University, where she learned how to listen to and understand clients’ wants and needs, build candidate profiles through research, and vet and align talent. In addition, Victoria’s psychology and management education feeds into her work as a researcher, where a critical understanding is required beyond merely finding facts, to help her get a feel for personalities to assess the right cultural fits.
“Victoria will add tremendous value to the search process we deliver for our clients,” says Matt Tovrog, a Partner at Bell Oaks. “Her ability to understand the requirements of a role and translate that into a thorough research process to identify potential candidates will increase the quality and quantity of candidates we source on every search. We’re excited to welcome Victoria to the team!”
