Maggie Fitzsimmons, Search Consultant
Maggie Fitzsimmons is a skilled collaborator who values relationship building in project management. Her experiences supervising events and staff in for-profit and non-for-profit athletic and recreation settings fostered a keen lens for customer service and development. Most recently, she coordinated the operations of the 440,000 square foot Ramsey Student Center and its 150 part-time staff at the University of Georgia. Maggie emphasized career readiness with her staff by assessing leadership and competency development throughout the lifetime of their employment.
While at UGA, Maggie’s passion for career readiness led her to begin a Ph.D. in Education with a research focus on leadership development. Prior to her role at the Ramsey Student Center, she managed the Aquatic and Fitness Center at the University of Virginia. She earned a Master of Science in Kinesiology from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Florida. In her free time, Maggie enjoys being with her dogs and husband while traveling, cooking, and exercising outside, as well as reading for her leadership research.
