Claire Dempsey, Associate Partner
Claire Dempsey is an Associate Partner at Bell Oaks where she works closely with clients to execute strategic leadership searches. Claire's diverse experiences within business and non-profit allow her to work effectively with various clients, and Claire's competitive spirit drives her to achieve exemplary results on every project.
Prior to joining Bell Oaks, Claire worked for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), where she directed Atlanta's Man & Woman of the Year and Students of the Year programs, helping raise funds and awareness in support of blood cancer patients and their families. In her time at LLS, she implemented several fundraising strategies that became national campaign standards, and the campaigns she oversaw raised a cumulative total of $11.5 million for blood cancer research. She has a particular specialty in corporate sponsorships and a passion for helping those around her reach their own goals. She credits the relationships she built as her proudest achievement.
Born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Claire (who is actually a triplet!) played competitive soccer through her sophomore year at Furman University. She then transferred to the University of South Carolina, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. After college, she moved to Atlanta with her husband Drew. They live in Peachtree Corners with their new baby, Banks. In her spare time, Claire and her husband are involved in a high school ministry called Young Life. She also loves checking out the Atlanta restaurant scene and a good Orangetheory class.
